  • Abstract
    The convergent service delivery of fixed and mobile telecommunications networks, cable networks, as well as the Internet has been propounded as the key conception of future network. Although the exciting progresses have been made in service optimization area, the service optimization on Convergent Network (CN)-based Service Delivery Platform (SDP) is still a new significant hot topic that requires analytical modeling. This paper presents a new architecture of SDP for the Convergent Network, and proposes a service optimization model for analyzing the cooperative performance among the service consumers, service-oriented intermediaries, and service provider on CN-based SDP. The model and techniques proposed are suitable for cross-layer optimization over the various heterogeneous service systems coexisting in the convergent network.
