Abstract :
We consider the problem of estimating elevation and azimuth angles of coherently distributed signal sources using a uniform circular array. A new method is proposed to estimate the generalized steering vectors of distributed source signals, from which we address the estimation of the azimuth and elevation angles. A parametric distributed sources signal model and a reparameterized model are used. Some successive 2D searches are required by the proposed scheme. The validation of the method is illustrated by a numerical example
