Abstract
This paper deals with a new application of dissipation normal form (DNF). This special system structure respects the energy conservation law and can be interpreted as a system of state coupled oscillators. In this paper there is a nonlinear phase coupling introduced. The system of coupled oscillators can be generalized for n oscillators with different amplitudes and optional phase shift. Obtained results are used for mathematical modelling of fish fictive swimming.
