Abstract :
In this paper a methodology for the design of FIR and IIR fuzzy filters is presented. The choice to implement fuzzy filters rises from the obvious advantages in terms of low computational costs and easy implementation. The validation of the proposed methodology has been performed through the analysis of several examples of fuzzy filters. The obtained results show the suitability of the method over classical design techniques
