Abstract :
The interaction between the metamaterial composed of split-ring resonator (SRR) and the THz electromagnetic wave is investigated by the simulation. Only one resonance occur in the unit cell of the metamaterial composed of single SRR, whereas two evident resonances at different frequencies occur in the unit cell composed of two different split-ring resonators at vertical direction, which makes an expansion of the bandwidth of metamaterial become possible.
