Abstract :
This paper presents the design of a combined high power line type solid-state modulator for a radar transmitter, and describes the applications of series SCR, the selection of solid-state modulating switch device, and the design of switch module in great detail. Finally, the performance specifications for the combined line type solid-state modulator and the transmitter using this modulator are given, and a qualitative analysis is performed for the MTBF of this kind of modulator
