Abstract :
The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and the pseudo-spectral time-domain (PSTD) method have been combined to apply for complex and large-scale electromagnetic problems. In applications of plate objects simulations, the different-dimension hybrid method of FDTD and PSTD was proposed. In this paper, using a high order FDTD(2,4) scheme instead of the traditional FDTD, a hybrid method of FDTD(2,4) and PSTD algorithm is proposed to improve efficiency. A Ultrawideband antenna is simulated by the proposed algorithm, and results are compared with existing methods.
