Abstract :
To reduce the extensive online computation of standard scalar iterative techniques for image reconstruction from X-ray projections, an alternative matrix-vector representation of these techniques leads to the single-pass solution presented in this paper in which most of the computation is transferred off-line. Reconstructed images, supercomputer CPU and memory requirements, and proposed systolic array architectures are presented
