Abstract :
In this paper, the time domain integral equation (TDIE) method is presented to study scattering from helical antennas. By employing the moment method (MM) combining with marching on in time (MOT) procedure, one can easily solve the presented TDIE. Thus transient behaviours of the thin-wire antennas can be calculated. In this paper, numerical examples for helical antennas with incidence of different polarization directions are given and analysed. Also the effects of antenna height on the currents induced are considered, for both y-polarization and z-polarization incidence.
