Abstract
A one-cycle control based constant frequency operating trailing-edge continuous conduction mode (CCM) boost type power factor correction (PFC) IC with instant-switch-current control is proposed. By using a level shift circuit, this PFC controller can be operated using unipolar supply voltage. Moreover, the functions of leading edge blanking (LEB) and over voltage protection (OVP) are integrated into the proposed IC to improve its performance.
