Abstract
This paper discusses the stabilization of nonlinear systems modeled by type II fuzzy systems. It first shows the canonical forms of type II fuzzy systems and the necessary and sufficient stability conditions. Next, it presents a design procedure of type II fuzzy controllers based on the stability conditions expressed by matrix inequalities. Some illustrative examples are shown.
