Abstract :
An analytic method is used to calculate the transient responses of the lossless multiconductor transmission line. The frequency-domain responses of lossless multiconductor transmission line excited by plane-wave are calculated by the frequency-domain Baum-Liu-Tesche (BLT) equation. By expressing the BLT equation in a matrix series, an analytical transformation from the frequency domain to the time-domain is performed to obtain the transient response. The simulation results are in good agreement with the results obtained by using the frequency-domain BLT equation via an inverse fast Fourier transform.
