Abstract :
It is necessary to roundly consider both the system throughput and the average end-to-end delay for evaluation a MAC protocol. In this paper, we present a rate control MAC protocol, which works with single-channel and single- transceiver Ad hoc network. And it achieves a significant throughput improvement over unchanged rate MAC protocol. The foremost contribution of our paper is the throughput- delay model, which can guidance the practical work according to the different needs to satisfy the QoS. Simulation results demonstrates the significant optimize perform and practical meanings that can be obtained under the proposed MAC protocol.
