Abstract :
The design of a Ku-band cavity diplexer with an E-plane T-junction is described. The cavity diplexer consists of a transmit filter and a receive filter combined to the antenna port via an E-plane T-junction. Two seventh-order bandpass filters are designed at 14.557 GHz and 14.977 GHz. The fractional bandwidths for two bands are 0.77% and 0.75%. The optimized insertion losses are about 1.2 dB for the two filters with better than 55 dB isolation.
