Abstract :
Summary from only given. A test setup was used to investigate the use of an intracavity deformable mirror to optimize the modal performance of an all-solid state laser. The resonator gave a large spot on the adaptive mirror completely covering the inner two rings of actuators. A 15 mm diameter deformable membrane mirror comprising 37 hexagonal actuators arranged in a hexagonal pattern was used as the adaptive optical mirror.
