Abstract :
The structures using periodic surfaces (here is frequency selective surface, FSS) can get band-pass characteristics, similar to a classical microwave filter. In this paper, we focus on the sensitivity analysis for the resonant frequency and bandwidth of the parameters of a double-layered band-pass structure. We use some methods and other techniques to evaluate sensitivity of the parameters in the thickness of the layers and the shape of FSS. Lastly, the results of sensitivity of parameters in resonant frequency and bandwidth indicate how sensitive the band-pass structure is to deviations from the designed values.
