Abstract :
Based on the microstrip circuits of electric-field probe with tapered dipoles developed at NBS, influence on different materials of antennas and transmission lines to the E-probe´s performance parameters has been discussed. Resistive and high-resistance materials are finally confirmed to be respectively better for probe´s antennas and transmission lines. This analysis will be useful for optimizing the electric-field probe´s performance with respect to different materials which can be varied in the fabrication process.
