Abstract :
One of novel Phase Locked Loops (PLL) microwave controlling system used in active mode-locking Pico-second Laser (PSL) at 5~11GHz (from C band to X band microwave band) frequency repetition rate has been present in this paper. We should call it PLL-PSL system. The complete PSL system configuration with this PLL controlling circuit was been introduced, while suitable microwave circuit structure has been used to get perfect output pulse with low phase noise and timing jitters. On the other hand, the better pulse output feature been got at optical output port. The applicability of C and X band repetition rate of this PLL-PSL system has got the confirmation under the agreement of the theoretical and experimental results.
