Abstract :
In this paper, the model of six-degree-of-freedom electromagnetic tracking system is introduced. To promote the precision and stability of calculating an object´s parameters, a new improved arithmetic is presented, which is a combination of the maximal ponderance of unit pointing vector tracking arithmetic and the eigenvector arithmetic. The correction is validated by the numerical simulation results. In the design of circuits, the technologies of direct digital synthesis (DDS), complex programmable logic device (CPLD), digital signal processing (DSP) and so on is introduced, which realize the functions of high-quality sine signal generator, precise sequential control, high-speed data collection and process, and improve the precision of the system.
