Abstract
In the wireless network, the movement of mobile users presents a scenario of access to the Internet that is substantially different from the wired network. Content requested by a mobile user depends on the mobile user´s location, moving state and its profile. Considering the characteristics of mobile users´ access to the Internet, the article estimates the response time and analyzes the cache requirement and the bandwidth requirement of wireless Internet, and then improves the web prefetch scheme by using agent. The improved scheme can improve the hit probability of prefetch to minimize the access latency and improve the quality of wireless Internet services. Finally it presents some results to verify the scheme.
