  • Abstract
    The existing indoor positioning systems can´t adapt to the environmental variations well, as it needs an accurate signal propagation model, which is acquired from the users in advance. A novel environmental-adaptive Received Signal Strength Index (RSSI) based indoor positioning approach using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is proposed in this paper, that is the signal propagation model and model parameters are updated online in a closed-loop feedback correction manner. The simulation results show that the proposed approach improves the environmental-adaptability and the accuracy of positioning.
