  • Abstract
    Research of the cognitive network is a hotspot problem in telecommunication field. In this paper, we proposed user-orientated cross-layer architecture in cognitive network where the user´s experience is with great consideration. In order to guarantee the use´s experience of the service, we propose a novel model to evaluate the users´ quality of experience (QoE) which is related to the parameters of quality of service (QoS) and the users´ behavior model. Since the network is user-oriented, different users should have the distinguishing cross-layer algorithms and the cross-layer algorithm should also be dynamic to adapt the diverse environment. So we introduce the concept of dynamic cross-layer design to this architecture in order to enable a dynamic adjustment to the cross-layer algorithm according to the users´ QoE.
