Abstract
Continuous-time Markovian processes have a very wide range of application, but the resulting state sets can be uncomfortable or unwieldy to the decision maker. A way to simplify such state sets introducing fuzzy sets is explored. A process with fuzzy states can be defined over another (underlying) process with crisp or fuzzy states, establishing a relation that can be the basis for a systematic methodology for simplifying this kind of stochastic processes
