Abstract
The single sample plans with type I (fixed-time) censoring has been studied for a long time. It is hard to get the required producer´s risk α and consumer´s risk β exactly, because the sample size n and the acceptance number r0 must be integers. The design procedures to determine the acceptance numbers and sample sizes for fixed time censoring based on the fuzzy set theory is presented. A simple decision rule for finding the minimization of sample size was considered in the design procedures
