Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of asymptotic stability for a class of neutral systems with discrete and distributed delays. Using the Lyapunov method, a new delay-dependent sufficient criterion for the stability of the systems in terms of a linear matrix inequality (LMI) is derived. A numerical example is given to illustrate that the proposed result is less conservative.
