Abstract :
Summary from only given. We report on SHG with femtosecond pulses where both type-I and type-II quasi phase matched processes are present in the same structure, generating UV light in two polarization states simultaneously. The ratio of the powers in two polarization states can be continuously varied by changing periodically poled KTiOPO/sub 4/ crystal temperature and/or the wavelength of the fundamental pulses.
