Abstract :
A dual-transformer flyback converter, which operates in critical conduction mode with synchronous rectification, is proposed for high-power adapter applications. The converter is easy implemented of only one main switch, with high efficiency and low cost. The principle of the circuit is presented and inherent power balance between the transformers analyzed. Both simulated and experimental results are given in detail.
