Abstract
The missiles universal test set (MUTS) was developed by Honeywell test equipment engineers as the solution to the high costs associated with designing test sets customized to individual program needs. By assembling the most common test set features into a generic hardware baseline, and incorporating test software that was modular and not device specific, the resulting test set is applicable to many of the product lines at the Clearwater Defense facility, including systems for missiles, military aircraft and land navigation applications.
