Similarity-based hierarchical structured trust and reputation model in peer-to-peer networks

Trust and reputation system has been a key component in P2P networks since all peers are intellectual and autonomous. Previous researches either ignore particular peer´s needs or sacrifice efficiency in storage and retrieval to adapt to diversity of peer´s preferences. This paper aims to propose a scheme achieving quicker access and more precise calculation of reputation data. This system utilizes peer´s self estimation in calculation and provides a hierarchical structure for retrieving information.
