Abstract :
This paper surveys card-to-card coordination, synchronization, triggering, and cross triggering in PCI extensions for instrumentation (PXI) commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems. It provides an overview with some design guidelines for COTS designers and offers some suggestions to system integrators.
