Title :
Multi-level signals with good autocorrelation properties
Author_Institution :
Hull Univ., UK
Abstract :
Considers a number of different types of multi-level (non-binary) signals with pseudorandom (PR) properties, ie impulsive (or near-impulsive) autocorrelation functions. Periodic and non-periodic types are discussed, as well as the synthesis of uncorrelated sets of multi level PR signals. The classes of signal described are multi-level m-signals, generalised Barker and other related complex signals, Huffman signal and non-binary complementary signal sets. Synthesis methods for each type are indicated
