Abstract :
This paper discusses measurement techniques that can estimate the phase of pulsed microwave amplifiers. In addition to the traditional techniques that use a phase bridge or vector network analyzer, a dual channel downconverter (DCD) technique was developed. The use of this patent-pending DCD unit offers ease of installation, complex stimulus modulation compatibility, low-cost, supportability, stability, and accuracy.
