Abstract
Summary from only given. Continuous-wave optical parametric oscillators represent versatile sources of tunable coherent light. An approach to the development of cw singly resonant oscillators (SROs) is the use of intracavity pumping. Here, the OPO is placed internal to the pump laser itself, thus taking advantage of the high circulating intensities available within the pump cavity to overcome the SRO threshold.
