Abstract :
With carbon emissions, global warming accelerate day by day, and activities of logistics are great causes of carbon emissions, so reducing the carbon emissions of logistics become the focus of the present study. Distribution centers location decision is one of the most critical factors in the entire logistics system, reasonable locations can effectively reduce the carbon emissions of logistics. This paper proposes a model of distribution centers location decision based on minimizing the carbon emissions of logistics. And then we use genetic algorithm (GA) to optimize the locations of distribution centers based on the model we proposed. The experiment shows that GA can quickly scan a vast solution set and it is more likely to converge toward a global minimum than local optimization techniques.
