Abstract
In this paper, a new formula of superheated stream density is established based on iterative reweighted least squares (IRLS) method and the accuracy of the new formula is discussed. In the 0.1Mpa to 10Mpa range of the atmospheric pressure and the 100oC to 3000C range of temperature, the formula can be used widely and has high precision, especially suits for accurate measurement and control of superheated stream by computer.
