Abstract
The life cycle support of critical military GPETE (general purpose electronic test equipment) commodity is driving procurement innovation. The procurement of electronic test equipment through dynamic reverse auctions (DRA) will dramatically improve the government´s acquisition efficiency compared to current practices. Specifically, this Internet-enabled procurement tool removes the traditional and other significant problems associated with the acquisition of specialized older equipment used in the life cycle support of field and depot test systems.
