Abstract
A working system of preventive and predictive maintenance referred to as the standard maintenance procedure (SMP) program, is discussed. The system consists of a series of dynamically linked programs, each of which plays an important role in the effectiveness of the maintenance program. The system applies to both electrical and/or mechanical maintenance and provides the process of equipment inspection. The delay reporting system, product quality information, maintenance inspection program, equipment shift report system, and failure analysis and corrective action of the SMP program are described.<>
