Abstract :
Description of the design of the source of radial converging electron beam for modification of long-length cylindrical targets is presented. The source is of triode type. An electron flow is generated by the controlled multipoint cathode with the length of 1 m. Kinetic energy of electrons is 120 keV, pulse duration up to 50 us, energy density on the target up to 45 J/cm2.
