Abstract :
The paper presents a modularization modeling method for generators based on its physical subsystems. The generator module is developed to be composed of the physical subsystems as synchronous machine module, excitation system module, hydro-turbine and its speed governor system module, which can be used for the starting process simulation of generators as pumped storage generators etc. and electromechanical process simulation of power system. The method can be used in the development of the generator modules for starting process or normal operation simulations.
