Abstract
The functional models derived in previous work for stability analysis of electric power systems for “more electric” vehicular technologies is validated by time domain simulations of a test system using both the derived functional models and behavioral models in which details of the converter switching process are fully represented. The analytically derived functional model is employed to perform small-signal stability analyses and to assess the influence of operating conditions and leading design parameters on system stability.
