Abstract :
Design issues of a sub-THz traveling wave tube amplifier with a sheet electron beam double-vane slow-wave structure are discussed. Results of calculation of dispersion and coupling impedance of the SWS are presented, as well as the results of numerical modeling of the sheet beam focusing. Gain and bandwidth of a 200 GHz amplifier are calculated.
