Abstract :
In this paper, four PM BLDC motors with a same rotor but different stator structures are investigated. Conducted EMI on DC bus of each motor is tested and analyzed. A method to predict the conducted EMI characteristics by analyzing the DC bus current in frequency domain is proposed. Moreover, vibration experiment results of the motors operating under no-load condition are compared. Possible electromagnetic sources that produce main vibrations of each motor are elaborated.
