Abstract :
An important issue in a wireless sensor network is to use a nodepsilas limited energy efficiently. The clustering technique can reduce the energy consumption of wireless sensor networks. The cluster head collects sensing data from sensor nodes neighbors, aggregates sensing data and sends the aggregated data to a sink node. Electing the cluster head is important to reduce the networks´ energy consumption. This paper proposes adaptive cluster head selection that reorganizes the clustering, considering the position between a cluster head and the nodes in a cluster.
