Abstract :
In this paper a simple method for electric motor control is presented -Direct Torque Control with Flux Vector Modulation (DTC -FVM). The DTC -FVM can be applied for both induction and synchronous machine. This method is based on stator flux vector modulation. Required torque is obtained by control an angle between stator and rotor flux. Referenced stator flux vector is predicted and after comparison with actual stator flux vector the flux error is defined. This error is delivered to the SVM, which is Flux Vector Modulation. Presented method allows to achieve good dynamic performance, as good as DTC-SVM, in constant torque region, constant power region and also in constant slip frequency region. Some simulation and experimental results are included.
