Abstract :
In this paper the regional power grid voltage stability with the wind farm consisting of the VSCF doubly fed induction wind generator (DFIG) is presented. And proposed a Prioritizing Reactive power allocation strategy for Doubly fed induction generator of Large-scale Wind Farm. The strategy is mainly to get the wind farm reactive power requirements from the relative voltage offset of the voltage control Bus,and assign reactive power generating mission to each DFIG considering its actual reactive power generating ability and the structure of electrical collection systems of the whole wind farm. The simulation result shows that the proposed strategy could fully take advantage of each DFIG´s reactive power generating ability in the wind farm and maximize limited impact from the voltage fluctuation of the voltage control Bus to maintain voltage stability of local grid.
