Abstract :
The oracle media server framework provides distributed object-oriented access to new media data and services over a wide range of client-server networks. This framework is built on the oracle media server which has complete support for all new media data types, including audio, video, images, and text; as well as the more conventional relational data types. Oracle media net provides a network independent substrate on which a lightweight object request broker is built.
