  • Abstract
In this paper, a relay-based ACK selective cooperative diversity transmission mode is proposed for high-speed railway. The primary intention of this paper is to evaluate the performance of a non-relay direct transmission mode and cooperative diversity transmission with the acknowledgment mode. What´s more, the closed-form outage probabilities for each transmission mode are derived. We can conclude that the ACK relay-based cooperative diversity transmission mode has better performance as well as reliability than non-relay mode by comparing their outage probability especially in high-speed railway scenario. It is also be noted that the attenuation of signal amplitude caused by carriage passing loss is a crucial parameter in determining the outage probability for each transmission mode.
