Abstract :
One of the recent requirements for improving structures and production methods of electron-emitting source is efficiency and similarity of cathodes. This article provides a method of forming a homogeneous porous body - "chrysalis" that fixes and isolates the heater coil in cathode body. The "chrysalis" is made using mechanical vibration at low frequencies. Using this method allowed us to raise the emitter temperature by 4% and to reduce the variation of the cathode temperature by 16%.
