Abstract
Optimization of induction motor efficiency was social and economic significance. In this paper, the problems of traditional efficiency optimization methods were discussed first, the main problem of these methods was that efficiency optimization could not realize for the appropriate flux couldn´t be gotten under complex work conditions, that induction motor parameters were variable and non-linear under variable conditions. Second, the characteristics and calculation method of EMD-EKF (Empirical Mode Decomposition-Extended Kalman Filter) were analyzed. EKF with EMD method had both of their respective advantages, which could improve the accuracy of estimates. With optimization method to minimize loss of efficiency, a new efficiency optimization control method based EMD-EKF was given, and the simulation results proved that the method was effective.
