Abstract :
A novel microstrip antenna constructed with lotus-pods pattern is presented in this paper. It exhibits a frequency-independent antenna after a self-similar design. In practice, the multiband response dependents on the iteration of fractal pattern. Both outward and inward iteration approaches are introduced. Experimental results with multiband spectrums and array radiation patterns are presented and discussed
